Color changes through a three week period in October. (not same larva)
 October 7 Larva still active and feeding, leaves still green. Colors somewhat match background.
Note the bright yellow sub-dorsal stripe matches some leaf veins. |
 October 13 Leaves change to paler yellow- green, less feeding (?). Larva color paler.
Note the yellow sub-dorsal stripe paler and broken, more closely matching some leaf veins. |
 October 27 Dormant (?) larva in dried brown leaf. Larva closely matches background.
Note the yellow sub-dorsal stripe is gone. |
