Lavender Dancer has been documented in New Mexico only in Chaves and Eddy counties. These pictures should document it for Otero County as well. Habitat is a smal intermittent stream, and it flies with Sooty Dancer (Argia lugens) and Springwater Dancer (Argia plana)
