Carolina Roadside Skipper - Ozark Clubtail, Newton County, Arkansas 4-22-03
I had at least two Carolina Roadside Skippers at the Carver canoe launch site, on the Buffalo River. Both appeared worn, the second one badly, so looks like they have been out for awhile. Cane thickets abound along the river here.

Pattern doesn't show well in the picture, but note the spots on the side of the abdomen.

This female Ozark Clubtail, is one of 5 seen, all recentlly emerged. Only one was a male
These were at the Hasty low water bridge, on the Buffalo River.
